The pre-release event of Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) was expected to be about the film, but it ended up delivering a heartfelt moment between Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara. While addressing the audience, Vignesh revealed that Nayanthara was present backstage, supporting him quietly. He then added a fun remark that caught everyone’s attention. “As a wife and producer…I can’t afford

to invite actress Nayanthara to an audio launch,” he said, laughing, while also hinting that he wasn’t sure if she would step on stage.

Unsure if she would appear

Vignesh continued to keep the audience guessing as he spoke about Nayanthara’s unpredictable presence at public events. When the host mentioned the nervousness around whether she would join, he said, “Don’t know if she has escaped. Sometimes she will leave after the event begins. So, I don’t know what’s going on.”
Given that Nayanthara rarely attends such events, the uncertainty only added to the anticipation in the room.

Their journey together

Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara’s relationship goes back several years. The two began dating after working together on Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in 2015.
They got married in a private ceremony in Mahabalipuram in June 2022. Later that year, in October, they announced the birth of their twins through surrogacy.
On Valentine’s Day, Nayanthara had shared a heartfelt note for Vignesh, writing, “You are my greatest blessing, my Amma’s prayers finding their way to my heart. Ten years with you, yet I still miss you when you’re away, even for a single day.”

Love Insurance Kompany is a sci-fi romance directed by Vignesh Shivan and produced by Nayanthara along with SS Lalit Kumar under Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studio. The film stars Pradeep Ranganathan, SJ Suryah and Krithi Shetty, along with Yogi Babu, Seeman, Gouri G Kishan, Shah Ra, Malavika and Sunil Reddy.
Originally announced in 2019 with Sivakarthikeyan, the project was shelved due to budget issues and later revived in 2023 with a new cast. After multiple delays, the film is now set to release in theatres on April 10 in Tamil and Telugu.
