The issue has once again come into the spotlight after a video showing a couple being confronted for carrying away bedrolls provided by the railways in their luggage. When questioned, the woman claimed that they had taken the linen because the TTE had charged them extra money.
Woman Calls The Confrontation “Faltu Ka Drama” The video was shared on Instagram by Vishal Patel, which showed a man standing on a platform, as the person recording the incident asked him to open his suitcase.
The passenger eventually unzipped the bag and took out a packet containing bedsheets provided by the railway and handed it over.
The woman, who objected to being recorded by the man, called the confrontation “faltu ka drama (unnecessary drama)”. She repeatedly asks the person filming to stop recording while explaining why they had taken the sheets. When asked who had allegedly charged them extra, the woman says, “TC ne” (The TC did).
This prompted the man to tell them that the linen belonged to the railways and not the TTE that they decided to take it away. She then continued to tell the guy that they decided to take it because they were charged extra and insisted that they were returning it.
