Ambala, Sep 7 (PTI) A man allegedly stabbed his 32-year-old wife to death here, police said on Monday.
Accused Bunty, who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, picked up a knife from the kitchen following an argument with his wife on Sunday and stabbed her in the abdomen, chest, and elbow. She was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared her dead, the police said.
The accused also allegedly threatened to kill the victim’s brother Nannu when he came to save her. The accused fled from the scene after the incident, the police said.
Acting on a complaint filed by Nannu, the police have registered a case against Bunty for murder and criminal intimidation. The police are currently searching for the accused.
According
