The incident forced officials to clear out reporters from the Oval Office as people tended to the affected person.
US President Trump could seen arching over and inspecting the well-being of the person.
In a statement, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said that the man was OK and identified him as a representative of one of the health care companies in attendance, the Hill reported.
Leavitt further said that the event would resume shortly.
