Indian Premier League champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru announced the list of players retained and released on Saturday, ahead of the IPL 2026 Auction.
English all-rounder Liam Livingstone was a surprise
addition to the list of players let go by the Bengaluru-based side after his performance in the side’s title-winning campaign.

RCB also let go of South African seamer Lungi Ngidi in addition to Mayank Agarwal, Swastik Chikara, Manoj Bhandage, Mohit Rathee ahead of the upcoming mini-auction, slated to be held in Abu Dhabi on the 13th of December.
RCB signed Livingstone for Rs 8.75 crore in the mega auction last year, but the seasoned Englishman could only manage to score 112 runs in 10 matches.
RCB have 8 vacant slots heading into the auction, with 2 spaces for overseas players, and will take a purse of Rs 16.4 Crores.
The Bengaluru-based franchise got the better of Punjab Kings by 6 runs in the final of the IPL 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad to end their 18-year wait for the trophy as skipper Rajat Patidar led the side to promised land.
