According to Drikpanchang, the most auspicious time for Lakshmi Puja in 2025 is on Monday, October 20. Lakshmi Puja Muhurat in Delhi (NCT) is from 7:08 p.m. to 8:18 p.m. Pradosh Kaal begins at 5:46 p.m. and ends at 8:18 p.m.
Lakshmi Puja 2025: Puja Vidhi
- Wake up early, clean your house, particularly the worship room, and take a bath. Put up Diyas, lights, and Rangoli in and around your home.
- Place Lord Ganesha, Goddess Lakshmi, and Goddess Saraswati/s idols on a clean wooden platform covered with a new red cloth. Keep Lord Ganesha at the left and Goddess Lakshmi at the right.
- Fill a Kalash (pot) with water and add inside, a betel nut, a coin, and some rice grains. Cover the Kalash’s mouth with mango leaves and place a coconut above it.
- Light a diya (clay lamp) with ghee and offer flowers, sweets, fruits, sandalwood paste and other items to the gods. Place gold or silver coins near Goddess Lakshmi to invoke her blessings.
- Chant the Lakshmi mantra and perform the aarti with your family. Avoid clapping, singing aloud or bursting crackers during the Puja.
