Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday urged students to focus on safety, health and studies ahead of the upcoming board examinations. In a letter addressed to students, he shared three key messages.
The Chief Minister warned students against using Chinese ‘manjha’, a sharp-edged kite string that is banned in the state and has caused several fatal accidents. He asked them not to use it, caution friends and inform the police about any illegal sale with the help of their families.
He also cautioned students about excessive mobile phone use. He said long hours of gaming and video watching waste time, affect studies and harm eyesight. Instead, he encouraged them to read books, play outdoor games, spend time with family and limit screen
usage.
For students appearing in Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations, the Chief Minister advised them to remain disciplined, confident and focused. Referring to the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, he said, “A person has the right only over their actions, not their results,” and urged students to concentrate on hard work and dedication.
Yogi Adityanath extended his best wishes to all students appearing in the exams and expressed hope that they would perform well and make their families and the state proud.
