Kriti Sanon found herself in hot water after the release of a Raksha Bandhan ad featuring her in a bralette. Now, while the debate about people moral policing Kriti continues, Celina Jaitly is also getting backlash for wearing a floral saree along with a red, deep-neck blouse while celebrating Raksha Bandhan.
As the video circulated on social media, a user said, “After Kriti Sanon, now Celina Jaitly is celebrating Raksha Bandhan in revealing clothes. Look at her attire for a Hindu festival; it is demeaning the culture and tradition. >Showing cleavage >No Bindi >Wearing sandals >No Sindoor >No bangles/Dhaga. It looks like Bollywood never learns (sic).”
So for Kriti whole toolkit created- demeaning culture, bashing, abusing, transgender slur. For
Celina- No outrage trending Why? Bcs Celina won’t give you reach. This never about festival or culture, but about selective troll business model. Hypocrisy is Naked pic.twitter.com/cbgPFSWvWe

“When the controversy has already escalated so much, why does Bollywood keep making the same mistake again? Celebrating festivals is fine, but it’s also important to respect the traditions and sentiments of Hindu festivals (sic),” a user slammed.
A third user shared, “Maybe that is how she lives daily, minimal clothing. And that has become a normal for her! Bollywood is impossible to be corrected, their love for enemy nations is decades old (sic).”
Another comment reads, “Now Celina Jaitly has also entered the fray: Look at her clothes while tying the rakhi. Some low-grade Bollywood folks have vowed to mock Hindu festivals…”
Celina Jaitly Pens Emotional Note For Her Brother
Taking to her Instagram, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Celina shared, “#rakshabandhanspecial❤️ Since the news about my brother, Major Vikrant Kumar Jaitly, first reached me on 30 September 2024, I have only met the saddest version of myself. Every day since has been a nightmare of confusion, flashbacks, PTSD, grief, stupid thoughts about silly arguments from childhood, the useless fights we had, the laughter, our love, & the way we held each other together when Mummy & Papa died. I have not heard his voice, seen him or met him since 2024. I have done everything I possibly can as a sister, despite whatever has been said. He is all I have. He is my only family besides my sons. I stand by him!!!!!!”
“I still remember that one-rupee coin placed in my hand as his little sister. I remember the earrings he bought me from his first pay as a soldier. Tiny things that become entire worlds when the person attached to them is suddenly beyond your reach. Rakhi is more than a thread. It is a bond of the soul, complicated, imperfect, eternal,” she added.
Celina concluded, “Mummy, Papa, wherever you are in this universe, bless us. Give him the strength to endure this test until we meet again. Dumpy, I will never, ever give up on you.”
