The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced the CA September 2025 results on Monday. Hyderabad’s Tejas Mundhra achieved All India Rank (AIR) 2 in the CA Final, scoring 492 marks, equivalent to 82 per cent. Tejas had previously excelled in the CA Intermediate exam, securing the fifth rank.
Tejas Mundhra completed his B.Com at Osmania University in Hyderabad, graduating in June 2024 with a CGPA of 8.59. Following his graduation, he advanced through all stages of the CA programme, gaining expertise in financial reporting, corporate law, direct and indirect taxation, and IT skills, reported News18 Hindi.
Since 2023, Tejas has been training as an Articled Assistant at Ernst & Young (EY) in Hyderabad. There, he has conducted statutory
audits and limited reviews across various industries, and has worked with financial reporting frameworks such as Ind AS, IGAAP, and US GAAP.

The CA Final exams took place on September 3, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14, 2025. The overall pass percentage for candidates appearing for both groups was 16.23 per cent. According to ICAI data, 24.66 per cent of candidates passed Group I (12,811 out of 51,955) and 25.26 per cent cleared Group II (8,151 out of 32,273). Among those who took both groups together, 2,727 out of 16,800 qualified, resulting in a total of 11,466 newly qualified Chartered Accountants this session.
Mukund Agiwal, who secured the top rank in the CA exam, the results of which were announced on Monday, scored an impressive 500 out of 600 marks, translating to 83.33 per cent. He completed his primary education at Gurukul School in Dhamnod and passed his 12th grade in Commerce and Math in 2021. That year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, travel was not possible, so Mukund completed his entire CA Foundation degree from home, achieving a score of 344 out of 400 marks.
