Anant Raj, E2E Networks shares jump on Budget data centre push

Shares of Anant Raj jumped 7%, while E2E Networks rallied as much as 13% on Sunday, February 1, after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a major push for data centres.

In her Budget 2026 speech, Sitharaman said the government proposes to offer a tax holiday until 2047 for foreign companies that provide cloud services globally using data centre infrastructure based in India.

Such companies, however, will be required to serve Indian customers through an Indian reseller entity.

The announcement was made on the floor of the Lok Sabha as the Finance Minister presented her ninth consecutive Union Budget.
