Its revenue declined 27.6% to ₹1,602.6 crore from ₹2,212.2 crore in the previous year.
The company's revenue declined 2.7% to ₹34,075.8 crore from ₹35,031.2 crore in the previous year.
Its earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) declined 17% to ₹2,655.2 crore from ₹3,190.6 crore in the third quarter last year.
The company's margin contracted as well to 7.8% from 9.1% in the year-ago period.
Earnings before Interest and Tax (EBIT) for the Transmission Services business, which comprises of both Natural Gas and LPG, fell marginally from last quarter to ₹1,506 crore from ₹1,541 crore.
The Natural Gas Marketing segment EBIT fell to ₹853.2 crore, a drop of 34% from the September quarter figure of ₹1,304 crore.
Additionally, EBIT loss for the Petrochemicals business widened to ₹482.6 crore from an EBIT loss of ₹299.24 crore in the September quarter
GAIL's board of directors also approved the payment of interim dividend of ₹5 per equity share for the financial year 2026. The record date for the same is February 5.
GAIL shares ended the previous session 0.2% lower at ₹167.05 apiece. The stock has declined nearly 3% in the past month.
