EatRight brings together Swiggy’s existing health-focused offerings—High Protein, Low Cal and No Added Sugar—under a single discovery experience. The company said the category features over 1.8 million EatRight-enabled dishes from more than 200,000 restaurants nationwide. Users can access the category by simply searching for “EatRight” on the Swiggy app.
Swiggy said the initiative is built on the insight that healthier eating does not necessarily mean strict diets or giving up familiar food. Instead of positioning EatRight as a fitness-only or diet-led proposition, the company is pitching it as a food-first, everyday solution for users looking to eat better without drastically changing what they order.
The category includes high-protein versions of popular dishes such as biryanis, tikkas, rolls and bowls; low-calorie options like soups, salads, sandwiches and khichdi; and no-added-sugar treats including ice creams and beverages.
“EatRight marks an important step in how we’re reimagining discovery of better-for-you food on Swiggy,” said Deepak Maloo, Vice President – Food Strategy, Customer Experience & New Initiatives at Swiggy. “As consumer expectations evolve, the opportunity lies not just in offering more choice, but in delivering a seamless experience at scale. With EatRight, healthier options blend naturally into regular ordering habits, helping make mindful eating a sustainable, everyday behaviour.”
Alongside the launch, Swiggy shared trends from its platform highlighting a rise in health-conscious food ordering. The company said healthy food orders are growing twice as fast in Tier-2 cities compared to metros, with cities such as Chandigarh, Guwahati, Ludhiana and Bhubaneswar leading the growth.
Friday emerged as the most popular day for healthy food orders, while no-added-sugar items were most frequently ordered during breakfast and late-night hours. Ingredients such as tofu and soya saw strong traction, recording 5x and 2x growth, respectively, compared to other dishes. Healthy smoothies grew 60% in 2025 compared to 2024.
Swiggy also noted that partner restaurants are introducing new products aligned with the trend, including high-protein multigrain pizzas, protein-rich biryanis, protein-plus burgers, and no-added-sugar, high-protein coffees. Over 30 brands, including Subway and EatFit, are currently offering exclusive discounts on EatRight options to make healthier food more affordable.
