NBCC (India) Ltd reported a mixed set of numbers for the December quarter on Friday, with profit rising sharply even as operating performance softened.
For Q3 FY26, the company’s consolidated net profit grew 39.3% year-on-year to ₹193 crore, compared with ₹138.5 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations increased 7.6% to ₹3,022 crore, up from ₹2,809 crore a year ago.
However, EBITDA declined 21% year-on-year to ₹114.5 crore from ₹144.7 crore. As a result, the operating margin contracted to 3.8% from 5.2% in the corresponding quarter last year, reflecting pressure at the operating level despite higher topline growth.
Ahead of the earnings announcement, shares of NBCC (India) Ltd closed at ₹98.19 on the NSE, down 2.30% for the day.
