Total sales rose 40% year on year to 4.56 lakh units, compared with 3.24 lakh units in the same period last year. Domestic sales remained the key growth driver, climbing 42.5% year on year to 4.19 lakh units from 2.94 lakh units, highlighting sustained demand in the home market.

Exports also posted healthy growth during the month, rising 21% year on year to 37,236 units, up from 30,754 units in the year-ago period. The steady expansion in overseas volumes underlines Hero MotoCorp’s continued focus on strengthening its global business and diversifying revenue streams beyond the domestic market.
The December performance indicates strong operational execution, with growth visible across both domestic dispatches and exports. Beating market expectations on total volumes is likely to be viewed positively, especially against the backdrop of a competitive two-wheeler market environment.
