The order involves the design, manufacture, testing and supply of power transformers in line with tender specifications. Voltamp confirmed that the contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and will be executed within six months.
Second Quarter Results
Voltamp Transformers' net profit rose 4.2% year-on-year to ₹78.85 crore, compared to ₹75.67 crore in the same period last year. Revenue increased 21.3% to ₹482.6 crore, while EBITDA grew 24.8% to ₹93.55
crore, maintaining a healthy operating margin of 19.4%.

The company said certain delivery sites became inaccessible due to heavy rain, impacting invoicing by around ₹10 crore. Despite this, Voltamp achieved a key operational milestone during the quarter — successfully manufacturing and delivering its highest-rated power transformer to date, a 160 MVA, 220 kV class unit, ahead of schedule.
The company began FY26 with an order book of ₹938 crore, adding new orders worth ₹1,377 crore during the year so far, and has another ₹92 crore in contracts pending formal confirmation. Voltamp said its order pipeline remains strong, supporting revenue visibility for the coming quarters.
Shares of Voltamp Transformers Limited ended at ₹8,070.00, down by ₹84.10, or 1.03%, on the BSE.
