After a brief intraday slip below that level, the Nifty managed to close above the 50-DMA of 25,789 and also above the 25,800 mark. All of that will be put to test after the Wall Street sell-off overnight, where both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq closed below their respective 50-Day Moving Averages.
The market breadth remains a cause of concern, reflecting the stress in the broader markets. Activity continues to remain stock specific, with TCS reacting to takeaways from its analyst day and Ola Electric on further stake sale by its promoter.
