These stocks are seeing the biggest reaction to their Q4 business updates

Shares of Gallant Ispat Ltd., CreditAccess Grameen Ltd., Shyam Metalics and Energy Ltd. and Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. are among the top gainers on the Nifty 500 on Tuesday, April 7, in response to their quarterly business updates that were shared after market hours on Monday.

Shares of Gallant Ispat are trading with gains of 13% and is the top gainer on the Nifty 500, followed by CreditAccess Grameen, whose shares gained as much as 10%. Shares of Shyam Metalics and GCPL are also trading with gains between 3% to 4.5%.

Gallant Ispat

Gallant Ispat reported a 14% jump in power production to 2.23 lakh Mega Units compared to 1.96 lakh Mega Units last year. Pellet production was up by 59%, Sponge production was up 38%, while Billets and M.S. Bar production grew by 9% each.

Revenue for the Billets business increased by 30% from last year, while M.S. Bar segment saw 8% year-on-year revenue growth.

Capacity utilization at the end of the fourth quarter stood at 91% and 86% for the full financial year. Steel production and sales both went up by 9% during the quarter from the same period last year.

CreditAccess Grameen

The Microfinance lender said in its business update that it is closing financial year 2026 on a strong footing and is poised for an acceleration in growth in financial year 2027. Disbursements for the quarter grew by 28% from last year to ₹8,313 crore.

For the full year, disbursements were up by 24% to ₹24,860 crore.

According to CreditAccess Grameen's update, asset quality has completely normalized across geographies.

The stock has cooled off from the highs, but is holding on to gains of over 5%.

Shyam Metalics

In its business update for March, Shyam Metalics noted a 59% increase in stainless steel sales to 10,519 tonnes. On a month-on-month basis, stainless steel sales were up by 27%.

Stainless Steel's average realisations increased by 19% from the year-ago period to ₹1.52 lakh per tonne. However, this figure was down 0.6% on a month-on-month basis.

Pellet Sales volumes during the month of March increased by 44.3% from last year and nearly by 77% from February to 1.06 lakh tonnes.

The stock is holding on to gains of 4.3% on Tuesday after the business update.

Godrej Consumer Products

The Godrej Group enterprise sees double-digit sales growth and high single-digit volume growth for the fourth quarter compared to the same quarter last year.

Excluding soaps, volume growth remains in double-digits, while the Indonesia business is showing signs of stabilization with mid-single digit volume growth and sustained market share gains.

However, the company has warned that rising crude and commodity costs may impact their margins by 6% to 9%.

Shares of GCPL gained as much as 4% but are off opening highs, currently trading 2.3% higher at ₹1,025.05.
