Revenue from operations grew a modest 5.7% YoY to ₹676.5 crore in Q3, up from ₹640 crore a year ago. Despite the muted topline growth, operating performance remained healthy, with EBITDA rising 16.1% YoY to ₹56.1 crore, compared with ₹48.3 crore in the year-ago quarter.
As a result, EBITDA margin improved to 8.3% from 7.5% last year, reflecting cost control measures and operational efficiencies amid a challenging demand environment.
For the nine months ended December 31, 2025, the company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹36.7 crore, compared with ₹39.3 crore in the year-ago period, while revenue stood at ₹1,980 crore, up from ₹1,895 crore last year.
Somany Ceramics said it continues to operate under a single business segment, ceramic tiles and allied products, with performance driven by steady demand across housing and infrastructure-linked projects. During the quarter, the company also absorbed the impact of new labour codes, which resulted in additional employee benefit provisions.
Separately, the board approved the appointment of Biju Sebastian as HR Head, effective January 29, 2026.
Shares of Somany Ceramics closed 389 ahead of the result announcement on Wednesday. The stock has dropped 26.26% in the past six months.
