The Nifty has given the bulls more reason to rejoice as the index, along with the market, is on the rise. The Nifty index is up over 100 points, rising above the 26,000 mark. The Sensex index is up 400 points, rising past the 85,000 mark.

The Rupee once again is in the spotlight as the national currency stumbled early in the day to new lows. The Indian rupee has now fallen to a record low of 90.56 against the US dollar, even as the Dollar index drops further itself.

Thursday's high of 25,922 will be key on the upside for the index, while 25,700 will mostly be a key support.

Some of the biggest gainers among the Nifty 500 include Anant Raj, Hindustan Copper, Hindustan Zinc, GMDC, Kaynes Tech, and Motilal Osawl among others.
