ACME Solar Holdings Limited said on Monday, Januray 19, it has commissioned an additional 12 MW of wind power capacity through its subsidiary, ACME Eco Clean Energy Pvt Ltd, at its project located in Surendranagar,
Gujarat.
With this latest commissioning, the project’s total operational capacity has increased to 68 MW, out of the planned 100 MW being developed in phases.
The wind power project has been financed by Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and constructed using ACME Solar’s in-house EPC capabilities. The project deploys 4 MW wind turbines supplied by SANY.
Power generated from the project will be sold under a 25-year power purchase agreement signed between ACME Eco Clean Energy and Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited.
The commissioning of the additional 12 MW capacity was witnessed by officials from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL) and has been recorded in the commissioning minutes of meeting, the company stated. The formal commissioning certificate is expected to be issued shortly.

ACME Solar had reported a consolidated EBITDA of ₹534 crore, up 108% year-on-year, and a PAT of ₹115 crore, up 652% year-on-year, for Q2FY26.

Shares of ACME solar closed at ₹213.85 on NSE, down ₹2.70 or 1.25% today, January 19.
