Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are under pressure, while indices are looking to make a recovery. The Nifty is down over 100 points, falling to 23,500. The Sensex index is also down, falling over 300 points, dropping to 74,500.

The Nifty is stuck in a range yet again. The Nifty will likely see support at the 23,500 mark, below which, the recent lows between 23,250 - 23,350 could come into play yet again.

The Nifty IT index is up nearly 0.50%. IT is doing the heavy lifting while banks are keeping any enthusiasm in check with their underperformance.

The Nifty Bank is down in seven out of the last eight sessions.

The Nifty faces a challenge to conquer the 50-DMA closer to the 23,800 mark, a level it failed to sustain above even on Tuesday. For the Nifty Bank, the 53,000 to 54,000 range remains.

Some of the stocks to focus include BPCL, Mankind, Orkla, Lenskart, BEL, Ola Electric, Jubilant Foodworks, Samvardhana Motherson and more.
