MSCI Rejig | AU Small Finance shares in focus as it is estimated to see inflows of $172 mn

Shares of AU Small Finance Bank Ltd. are in focus on Wednesday, February 11, as it will witness a weight increase in the MSCI Global Standard Index because of a float adjustment.

As per Nuvama Alternative and Quantitative Research, the lender is estimated to see inflows of around $172 million, or 15.6 million shares, after the weight increase.

Adjustments for this round of the index's rejig will occur in the last few minutes of trade on February 27.

On another note, shares of L&T Finance and Aditya Birla Capital have been added to the global index

. IRCTC is the only stock that has been excluded from the index. It is estimated to witness outflows of around $142 million, as per Nuvama Alternative and Quantitative Research.

Post the rejig, India's weight in the MSCI Standard Index remains the same at 14.1%. The number of Indian firms in the index will increase from 164 to 165.

Shares of AU Small Finance Bank Ltd. ended the previous session 0.4% lower at 1,000.85 apiece. The stock has gained 75.4% in the past year.
