In an exchange filing, the hospital chain said the acquisition was carried out through a secondary purchase in multiple tranches and was completed on December 19. The transaction involved a cash consideration of around ₹148.09 crore and was based on an independent valuation report.
Sarvejana Healthcare, a material subsidiary of KIMS, operates Sunshine Hospital in Hyderabad. The hospital reported a turnover of ₹597 crore in FY25, up from ₹464.2 crore in FY24 and ₹419.44 crore in FY23, reflecting steady growth over the past three years. Following the transaction, KIMS’ stake in Sunshine Hospital has increased from 68.59% to 75.53%, strengthening its control over the subsidiary and aligning with its broader expansion strategy in the healthcare sector.
