Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates:

  The Nifty is down over 60 points, trading below 26,000 as the Indian markets remain and trade on a cautious note. Volumes are expected to dwindle further as the year draws to a close. The Sensex is also trading on a similar note and is trading with losses of close to 250 points, above the 85,100 mark.

As for the Nifty, on the upside, 26,200 - 26,300 remains a barrier for the index, and despite crossing those levels twice last week, the index could not sustain above that.

The Nifty Bank index is under pressure, compared to the other indices, as the index fell over 150 points from the day's high to turn red.

Among the Nifty 500 stocks, some of the major losers include Asahi India, IRFC, RVNL, Jupiter Wagons, Rites, Anant Raj, Cyient, and Syrma, among others.
