Sterlite Technologies Ltd (STL) said its board of directors will meet on February 7, 2026, to consider a proposal to raise funds, according to a disclosure made to the BSE.
The company said the proposed fund raise may be carried out through the issuance of equity shares, warrants or other convertible securities on a preferential basis to promoters or promoter group entities. Any such issuance would be subject to the receipt of required regulatory and statutory approvals.
STL said the matter will be placed before the board for discussion and consideration at the meeting scheduled for Saturday.

Separately, the company stated the trading window for dealing in its securities has been closed with immediate effect for all designated persons and their immediate relatives. The trading window will remain shut until February 9, 2026, inclusive.
