Good morning!
Oil remains caught between hopes of peace and the realities of a prolonged conflict. Brent is holding near $88 a barrel after rallying 12% over six sessions as talks over the Strait of Hormuz remain deadlocked. And even if the current fighting subsides, Iran appears to be preparing for what comes next, reorganising its military into a more agile and "offensive" force for a potentially protracted confrontation.

A relatively tepid US CPI print has given the Federal Reserve more breathing room on interest rates, with both headline and core inflation coming in broadly in line with expectations.
Gold is holding near a two-month high as markets assess what the numbers could mean for the Fed's next move.

On Dalal Street, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles has gained after positive brokerage calls, while Muthoot Fincorp has filed for a ₹3,000 crore IPO.
Elsewhere, Oracle is reportedly preparing another round of job cuts as it pours billions into AI infrastructure, while the Bombay High Court has pulled up Maharashtra's food safety regulator over what it called high-handed action.
