Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The final trading day of the week is here and the Nifty heads into it set for its first weekly gain in nearly two months. The index did see some cool-off on Thursday after the near-900-point rally the previous session, but continued to find support at lower levels.

Heading into the weekend, traders may want to remain light on positions considering the ceasefire uncertainties. The spotlight today though will be on IT stocks after the TCS results. US-listed shares of Infosys and Wipro had a muted reaction to the numbers.

Wipro will also be in focus on the news of its buyback. The other headwind for IT stocks today is the sell-off in SaaS names on Wall Street overnight. For the Nifty, Thursday's low of 23,682 remains key, while 24,000 on the upside remains a barrier.

The Nifty Bank failed to defend 55,000 on Thursday but remains comfortably higher for the week. HDFC Life, Poonawalla Fincorp, Eicher Motors are some other stocks that should be on your radar.
