Shares of Vodafone Idea Ltd. are extending gains for a second consecutive session on Tuesday, February 10, tracking continued buying by promoter Kumar Mangalam Birla.
KM Birla purchased an additional 45 lakh shares on February 2, taking his total acquisition since January 30 to 4.54 crore shares.
Around 4 crore shares were bought from the open market between January 30 and February 1.
He acquired 2.21 crore shares on January 30 at an average price of ₹10.95 per share, followed by another 1.88 crore shares on February 1 at an average price of ₹11.13 per share.

The stock is currently trading at a one-month high and is up 18% from its recent low. However, it is still about 10% below its 52-week high of ₹12.80 touched on December 31.
Delivery volumes have picked up sharply, with delivery at 31%, the highest level in nearly four months.
Volumes also remain elevated, with Monday's turnover at 63 crore shares, compared with the 20 day average of 77 crore shares.
As of December 2025, Kumar Mangalam Birla held a 0.02% stake in Vodafone Idea, equivalent to around 1.94 crore shares, while the promoter group collectively owns 25.5% in the telecom operator.
At present, Vodafone Idea shares are trading flat at ₹11.60.
