What is the story about?
Force Motors shares rose nearly 3% on Tuesday, September 1, after the automaker reported a sharp increase in domestic vehicle sales for August.
The stock climbed as much as 2.96% to ₹18,044 after the company said domestic sales jumped 62.14% year on year to 3,721 vehicles, compared with 2,295 units in August 2025.
The figures include small commercial vehicles, light commercial vehicles, utility vehicles and sports utility vehicles.

Domestic sales more than offset weaker exports
Exports, however, moved in the opposite direction.
Force Motors shipped 81 vehicles overseas during August, down 25% from 108 units a year earlier.
But exports account for a relatively small part of the company's volumes, meaning the decline did little to dent the strong growth at home.
Total sales, including domestic and export markets, rose 58.22% to 3,802 units from 2,403 units in August 2025.
