Navratna defence PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) on Monday, November 10, announced it has received additional orders worth ₹792 crore since its previous disclosure on October 30, when it had reported orders worth ₹633 crore.
Although it has not revealed the entity placing the order, the company has informed the exchanges that it has secured "major orders" for defence network upgrade, radio communication network, radars, communication equipment, drones, combat management system, gun sighting system, and
other upgrades, spares, and services.
On October 22, the PSU had received amajor order worth ₹633 crore from Cochin Shipyard. That contract covers the supply of items essential for various sensors, weapon systems, fire control mechanisms, and communication equipment, reinforcing BEL’s position as a leading provider of defence technology solutions.
As of October 31, 2025, the orders stood at ₹14,750 crore. The company said it has a strong pipeline of orders and anticipates orders worth ₹27,000 crore by the end of the financial year.
This includes a "main order" of Quick Reaction Surface-to-Air Missile (QRSAM) by March 2026. Other "big orders" the management said in the pipeline include Shatrughat, Samaghat projects, the NGC-related next-generation corporate-related subsystems orders from shipyards, additional LCA 97 numbers order from HAL, Shakti, GBMES, mountain radar, HAMMER.
The company is on track to achieve guidance issued earlier in the year of over 15% growth in revenue and more than 27% in EBITDA growth, Manoj Jain, Chairman and Managing Director, Bharat Electronics Ltd. said in the earnings call.
The company also reported a strong overall performance for the quarter ended September 30, 2025. It announced 18% year-on-year growth in net profit to ₹1,286 crore, which was higher than CNBC-TV18's poll estimate of ₹1,143 crore. Net profit for the same period last year was ₹1,286 crore.
Revenue for the quarter increased by 26% from last year to ₹5,764 crore as against ₹4,583 crore. A CNBC-TV18 poll had pegged the figure to be ₹5,359 crore.
Shares of BEL closed at ₹416.90, marginally higher by 0.64% from the day's opening price.
