Aditya Birla Group's flagship holding firm, Grasim Industries Ltd, on November 5, reported 11.6% year-on-year rise in net profit at ₹804.6 crore for the second quarter that ended September 30, 2025. Net profit for the same quarter last year stood at ₹721 crore.
It reported ₹9,610.3 crore in revenue from operations, up 26% on a year-on-year basis from ₹7,623.3 crore in the same quarter last year. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew by 12.5% from last year to ₹366
crore, while EBITDA margin went down by 50 basis points to 3.8% from 4.3% a year earlier.
Shares of Grasim Industries Ltd. closed at ₹2882 apiece on Tuesday, November 4, down 0.62% from the day's opening.
Meanwhile, CEO of Grasim Industries paint unit Birla Opus Rakshit Hargave has resigned from the post, effective November 1, 2025, according to a letter addressed to the company’s Board of Directors.
