Stock Market Live Updates: The Indian markets, in line with pre-market indications has opened with a bang; the Nifty index opened a record 1,200 points higher. The 50-stock index is now around 700 points above and is in reach of the all-time high mark of 26,373. The Sensex, on the same lines, is a mammoth 2000 points higher, surging towards the 83,400 mark.

The Indian markets are in the all-out bull mode after India-US signed a trade deal, bringing India's tariff down to 18% from the previous 50%.

The export-oriented sectors such as textile stocks  such as Gokaldas Exports, Welspun Living and others are surging over 10%

Shrimp stocks like Avanti Feeds, Apex Frozen Foods, are also on the high. Impact on IT stocks, auto and auto component names (particularly Bharat Forge) and more. Today is also the Nifty 50 weekly expiry and that could prompt some further short-covering in positions take earlier.
