IDFC FIRST Bank on Thursday, September 3, said it has mobilised a gross amount of around $3.57 billion (₹33,975 crore) from non-resident Indian (NRI) customers under the Reserve Bank of India's FCNR(B) swap window.
The amount mobilised is equivalent to around 11% of the bank's deposit base as of June 30, 2026, according to the bank's exchange filing.
The bank's IFSC Banking Unit (IBU) facilitated around $2.60 billion (₹24,720 crore) of lending during the period.
The rupee equivalents are based on the exchange rate prevailing on August 31. IDFC FIRST Bank said the FCNR(B) mobilisation figures are provisional and unaudited.
The latest fundraising adds to IDFC FIRST Bank's recent international debt-market activity . The bank had priced a $500 million three-year international bond offering on August 18 and increased the issue size by $100 million to $600 million a day later.
With the latest $350 million issuance, the bank has priced $950 million of international bonds within six days. The bank said that both issuances attracted demand from global institutional investors.
The new notes are proposed to be listed on the Vienna Multilateral Trading Facility, as well as the Global Securities Market of India International Exchange and/or the Debt Securities Market of NSE International Exchange.
IDFC FIRST Bank's loans and advances stood at ₹3,05,488 crore at the end of the June quarter, up 20.6% year-on-year from ₹2,53,233 crore and 5.2% sequentially from ₹2,90,278 crore.
Total deposits rose 17.7% year-on-year to ₹3,11,874 crore, compared with ₹2,64,971 crore a year earlier and ₹2,94,475 crore at the end of March.
CASA deposits grew 24.7% year-on-year to ₹1,58,563 crore, taking the CASA ratio to 50.8% as of June 30, compared with 49.8% at the end of March and 48% a year earlier.
The credit-deposit ratio stood at 95.5% at the end of the June quarter, compared with 96.4% in the preceding quarter and 93.4% a year earlier. The bank said asset quality also continued to improve.
Shares of IDFC FIRST Bank were trading at ₹87.44 on the NSE as of 3.15 pm, up 2.76% on Thursday. The stock has advanced about 24% over the last 12 months.
