Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty bulls enter the Sensex monthly expiry today after having restored parity in the mid-week session after the expiry-led sell-off. Although the index managed to recover only 60% of Tuesday's drop, the bulls would be content with the fact that 24,000 was back on the screen.

However, the 24,100 - 24,150 zone continues to remain a congestion point for the index and that is what the bulls would aim to cross.

The Nifty Bank recovered everything it lost on Tuesday and a little more with a near 1,000-point surge. For the banking index, a close above 58,000 is a positive and it will now look towards the 58,500 levels on the upside.

Analysts continue to remain bullish on the banking index till 57,000 is held on a closing basis. For the Nifty too, 23,800 - 24,000 zone remains the key on the downside. Keep an eye on stocks like Sterlite Tech, which has launched a QIP, while IRFC's OFS opens today for retail investors.
