Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd (HUDCO) on Monday (July 27) reported a 35.1% year-on-year increase in net profit to ₹851 crore for the first quarter, compared with ₹630 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The company's net interest income (NII), or the difference between interest earned and interest paid, rose 21.1% to ₹1,149 crore during the quarter from ₹948 crore a year earlier.

Along with its quarterly results, HUDCO's board declared the first interim dividend of ₹1.25 per equity share, or 12.5% on the face value of ₹10 per equity share, for the financial year 2026-27. The dividend will be subject to deduction of tax deducted at source (TDS), as applicable.
The company has fixed Friday, July 31, 2026, as the record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders to receive the interim dividend. HUDCO said the process of paying the interim dividend will be completed within 30 days from the date of its declaration.
Shares of Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited ended at ₹202.15, up by ₹6.40, or 3.27%, on the BSE.
