In a regulatory filing, RailTel said it has received a work order worth ₹140.71 crore for providing services under an annual maintenance contract (AMC). The contract is domestic in nature and is scheduled to be executed over a long tenure, with completion slated by January 30, 2031.
The company clarified that the order does not fall under related-party transactions and that neither the promoter nor promoter group has any interest in the awarding entity. The work order was received on January 21, 2026, at 3:00 pm, RailTel added.
Earlier this month, the telecom infrastructure firm secured a ₹101.82 crore work order from the Public Financial Management System (PFMS) to set up and manage critical IT infrastructure. It also received a ₹567 crore order from the Assam Health Infrastructure Development & Management Society (Ahidms) for a major project to be executed by January 31, 2032.
Shares of the company were trading at ₹333.15 as of 1.26 pm.
