Gopal Snacks reported a sharp turnaround in the fourth quarter, posting a consolidated net profit of ₹29.9 crore compared with a net loss of ₹39.5 crore in the year-ago period, aided by strong revenue growth and improved operational performance.
Revenue from operations rose 29% year-on-year to ₹409.6 crore from ₹317.5 crore, while EBITDA surged to ₹31.5 crore from ₹2 crore a year earlier.
EBITDA margin improved sharply to 7.7% from 0.6%.
The company said revenue from focus and other states grew 12% during the year, while wafers and gathiya segments recorded 7.5% growth. Modern trade and quick commerce revenue tripled compared with last year.
Operationally, the company had 953 active distributors as of March 2026 along with 220 micro-distributors under the SSD model. The Modasa and Nagpur plants continued to operate on bio-coal amid gas supply shortages, helping maintain uninterrupted production.
Chairman and Managing Director Bipinbhai Hadvani said snacks pellets posted 23.6% year-on-year growth during the quarter, while the gathiya segment grew 20.6%, supported by strong consumer demand and improved production efficiency.
The company said it continued expanding brand visibility through bus stop branding, advertisements on buses, outdoor campaigns and digital promotions across platforms such as Jio Hotstar, Sony LIV and Spotify, while remaining focused on product innovation, wider distribution and technology upgrades for future growth.
Company said its board has declared a third interim dividend of ₹0.40 per equity share of face value ₹1 each for FY2025-26, translating into a 40% payout. The company said the interim dividend will be paid to eligible shareholders on or before June 10, 2026.
Ahead of the announcement of results, shares of Gopal Snacks Ltd ended lower on Tuesday, settling at ₹320.10 on the NSE, down 1.46% or ₹4.75.
