Bharti Airtel Block Deal | Indian Continent Investment likely to sell ₹7,100-crore stake

Indian Continent Investment has launched a block deal in telecom operator Bharti Airtel Ltd valued at approximately ₹7,100 crore ($806 million). Indian Continent Investment is a promoter entity of Bharti Airtel.

The offering involves 3.43 crore shares, equivalent to about 0.56% of the company’s outstanding share capital, by the selling shareholder. The shares are priced at an offer floor of ₹2,096.70 each, representing a 3% discount to the stock’s last close of ₹2,161.60 on the NSE as of November

25, 2025.

Second Quarter Results

Bharti Airtel reported a consolidated net profit of ₹6,791 crore for the July–September quarter (Q2 FY26), a 14.2% increase quarter-on-quarter from ₹5,948 crore, outperforming the CNBC-TV18 poll estimate of ₹6,600 crore.

Revenue came in at ₹52,145 crore, rising 5.4% sequentially from ₹49,462 crore and beating Street expectations of ₹51,006 crore. The company’s EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) grew 6.2% QoQ to ₹29,561 crore, compared with ₹27,838.7 crore in the previous quarter, broadly in line with estimates of ₹29,005 crore.

The EBITDA margin improved slightly to 56.7%, against 56.3% in the June quarter, reflecting steady cost efficiency and strong operational leverage. Average revenue per user (ARPU) — a key industry metric — rose 2.4% sequentially to ₹256, from ₹250 in Q1FY26, underscoring continued traction in premium subscriber additions and data monetisation.

Shares of Bharti Airtel Ltd ended at ₹2,160.75, up by ₹9.90, or 0.46%, on the BSE today, November 25.
