This smallcap plastic labware producer has declined over 30% during a 14-day losing streak

Shares of Tarsons Products Ltd. fell for the 14th straight session on Monday, November 24. The stock declined another 8.5% on Monday, adding to its losing streak.

In fact, barring November 3, which was the first trading day of the month, the stock has declined in every single session during the month of November.

During this 14-day losing streak, the stock has lost nearly one-third of its value, declining 31%. The stock has also declined in 16 out of the last 17 trading sessions.

Tarsons Products reported results for the September quarter earlier this month, where its profit halved from last year, revenue growth was flat, but its operating performance was stable.

Its Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter rose 11% from last year, while margins expanded by 320 basis points to 32.5%.

The company attributed the fall in profitability to accelerated depreciation and finance costs related to its new facilities, from where the revenue will also accrue in the subsequent quarters.

"Backed by decades of experience in the plastic labware industry and the strong brand equity of Tarsons, we remain confident of a swift ramp-up of the new facilities from FY27 onwards, contributing meaningfully to overall revenue growth and margin expansion through operating leverage," Aryan Sehgal, promoter and whole-time director of Tarsons said in the company's investor presentation.

Mutual Funds do not have any stake in the company as per the September quarter shareholding pattern. Among foreign investors, First Sentier Investors has a 4.06% stake, while Pacific Assets Trust Plc has a 1.54% stake. A firm named Clear Vision Investment Holdings has a 23.42% stake in the company as of September.

Nearly 86,000 retail investors, or those with authorized share capital of up to ₹2 lakh, have a 13.58% stake in Tarsons Products.

Shares of Tarsons Products have been underperformers in 2025, having halved so far on a year-to-date basis (down 50.7%). The stock has also extended its losses from its issue price, and is now down 70% from its IPO price of ₹661. The stock ended 8.6% lower on Monday at ₹200.
