Three stocks that should be on your radar ahead of important court hearings this week

The important court cases this week include pleas by Vodafone Idea, Vedanta and IEX. While the Supreme Court is set to give its verdict on Vodafone Idea's plea today, here's when the others are slated for hearing in different courts and on various subjects.

Vodafone Idea

The Supreme Court will hear the telecom company's plea on additional adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues on Monday, October 27. During its last hearing on October 13, the case was postponed to post-Diwali after the Centre sought more time. The SC observed that it wanted the Centre to take a specific stand.

Vedanta

The NCLT will hear the Vedanta's demerger issue on Wednesday, October 29. In September, the case was postponed due to the oil ministry's objections as it sought details and clarification on the restructuring plan.

IEX

The Electricity Appellate Tribunal will hear the market coupling case on Thursday, October 30. During its previous hearing on October 13, IEX was told to file a revised plea in a week. The new parties include Grid Corp of India, Power Exchange and Hindustan Power Exchange. The respondents have to reply to the IEX plea before the next hearing.

Shares of Vodafone Idea have risen 17% in the last one month during the course of the Supreme Court hearings. Shares of IEX have also risen 7% in the last one month after the crash it witnessed when the market coupling news surfaced. Vedanta shares are also up 11% in the last one month, crossing the mark of ₹500 intraday for the first time in 2025 last Friday.
