Manufacturer of power, auto and inverter duty transformers, Atlanta Electricals Ltd, on Wednesday (June 3), said it has received a Letter of Award from Punjab State Transmission Corporation Ltd (PSTCL) for the procurement of 23 units of 160 MVA, 220/66 kV power transformers along with NIFPES and optional spares.
The total order value stands at ₹285.15 crore, including applicable taxes. This comprises ₹284.51 crore for power transformers along with NIFPES and ₹63.66 lakh for optional spares. The company said the detailed purchase order will be issued in accordance with the terms and conditions of the tender.
Atlanta Electricals stated that it has been associated with Punjab State Transmission Corporation Ltd since 2018 and has supplied approximately 200 transformers with an aggregate installed capacity of around 5,000 MVA across Punjab.

The company said the latest order further strengthens its presence in Punjab, which remains a strategically important market for its operations.
Atlanta Electricals is touted to be one of the leading manufacturers of power, auto and inverter duty transformers in India, in terms of production volume as of fiscal 2025.
They were among the few companies in India, manufacturing transformers up to and including 200 Mega Volt-Amp (MVA) capacity and with 220 kilovolts (kV) voltage prior to the acquisition of BTW-Atlanta Transformers India and the commissioning of their Vadod Unit.

Shares of Atlanta Electricals Ltd ended at ₹2,052.40, up by ₹97.70, or 5.00%, on the BSE.
