The company's total sales in November increased by 102% to 1,087 units from 539 units in the same month last year.
Of this, cargo vehicles witnessed an 83% increase to 429 units from 235 units last year.
On the other hand, passenger vehicles were up 116% at 658 units compared to 304 units in November last year.
On August 2, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. acquired 58.96% controlling stake in SML Isuzu from Japan's Sumitomo Corporation and Isuzu Motors for ₹555 crore.
M&M had proposed the renaming of SML Isuzu to SML Mahindra Ltd., which was then approved by the board of directors on August 19.
M&M had also said it would make an offer to acquire a 26% stake in SML Isuzu, in accordance with SEBI takeover rules.
The acquisition is aligned with the company's move to solidify its hold over the commercial vehicle (CV) segment above 3.5 tonne.
Shares of SML Mahindra Ltd. are trading 5% higher at ₹3,204.1. The stock may have declined 4.4% in the last one month, but has more than doubled in value in 2025 so far, with gains of 117%.
