What is the story about?
Talbros Automotive Components Limited on Friday, February 6, said it, along with its joint ventures, has secured multi-year orders worth over ₹1,000 crore from leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) across domestic and international markets.
In a regulatory filing, the company said the orders will be executed over five years, with commercialisation expected to begin from FY27. The wins span all of Talbros’ key product lines, including gaskets, heat shields, forging components, hoses, anti-vibration parts and chassis components.
Of the total order book, Talbros said it has secured around ₹250 crore from its sealing business, including approximately ₹110 crore of export orders for gaskets and heat shields. The forgings business has received export orders worth about ₹500 crore, a significant portion of which has come from a newly onboarded European global automotive component supplier.
Through its joint ventures, Talbros has also won export orders of around ₹90 crore via Marelli Talbros Chassis Systems for body-in-white (BIW) components catering to the electric vehicle (EV) segment, from a multinational manufacturer of luxury vehicles and SUVs. In addition, the company has secured domestic orders worth about ₹170 crore through Talbros Marugo Rubber for hoses and anti-vibration products.
Overall, the company said the order inflows include approximately ₹700 crore of export orders and about ₹100 crore linked to the EV segment. Talbros added that the fresh wins reflect its growing presence in the European automotive market, a highly competitive segment that requires adherence to global quality and performance benchmarks.
The company said the new orders are expected to enhance revenue visibility and support profitability, while underscoring the capabilities developed across Talbros and its joint venture businesses.
Shares of the company were up 1.83% at ₹286.95 as of 11.01 am on Friday. The stock has gained 5.87% in the past month.
