The construction period for the project is 24 months, followed by an operation period of 15 years from the commercial operation date (COD). The contract has been awarded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), a domestic entity, on general contract terms to Dilip Buildcon.

The company confirmed that neither the promoters nor promoter group companies have any interest in the entity awarding the contract, and the order does not fall under related party transactions.
First Quarter Results
Dilip Buildcon reported a 93.6% year-on-year jump in consolidated net profit to ₹271 crore for Q1 FY26, supported by improved margins and an exceptional gain of ₹169.3 crore. The EBITDA grew 8.7% to ₹520 crore, while the EBITDA margin rose sharply to 19.8% from 15.2% last year.
However, revenue declined 16.4% year-on-year to ₹2,620 crore, reflecting the broader slowdown in EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) ordering activity.

The company said it completed key road projects during the quarter, including a section of the Bangalore-Chennai Expressway worth ₹925 crore in Andhra Pradesh and a ₹680 crore stretch of the Raipur-Visakhapatnam Economic Corridor in Chhattisgarh.

Buildcon Ltd ended at ₹481.00, up by ₹3.10, or 0.65%, on the BSE.
