Arena rose 3% on Tuesday after the company announced the launch of an AI-native digital banking platform aimed at challenger banks and digital-first lenders across the UK and Europe.
The platform has been designed to help new banks set up and scale operations more quickly, with Intellect targeting a launch timeline of 12 to 16 weeks through a cloud-based deployment model.
According to the company, the platform was developed after studying recurring challenges faced by digital banks in areas such as customer acquisition, credit, operational resilience and compliance. The offering combines capabilities across customer engagement, operations, risk management, data utilisation and technology infrastructure into a single AI-led framework.
Intellect said the platform incorporates features such as automated processing, AI-driven product recommendations and natural language navigation tools. It has also been built to align with regulatory requirements across key European markets, including GDPR, DORA, PSD3, the EU AI Act and UK Open Banking standards.
The company claims the platform can help banks improve operational efficiency, reduce compliance costs and increase revenue generation through greater personalisation and automation.
“The launch of our AI Digital Banking platform marks a pivotal shift from traditional banking to truly cognitive, autonomous banking,” said Rajesh Saxena, Chief Executive Officer of Intellect Consumer Banking.
He added that the platform enables challenger banks to operate as AI-native institutions from inception rather than incorporating artificial intelligence into legacy systems at a later stage.
The launch also forms part of Intellect Design’s broader push into AI-led financial technology solutions as banks globally accelerate investments in automation, digital onboarding and personalised banking services.
Intellect Design Arena develops banking, financial services and insurance technology platforms and serves financial institutions across multiple global markets.
