The Indian markets are under pressure as the Nifty slumps below the 23,650 mark with a major 170-point fall. The Sensex is down over 650 points, with the index dropping to 75,350.

The Nifty is at a very crucial support juncture as it enters yet another weekly expiry session. The index had last closed below this 23,800 level back on April 9. Since then, every dip has found support at this level, including one during Monday's sell-off when the intraday low was 23,803.

Crude oil prices remain at elevated levels with no breakthrough yet between the US and Iran.

The Nifty Bank is also under the pump with a decline of over 400 points.

For the Nifty Bank, 54,000 - 55,000 is the range for the index.

Dr. Reddy's, Torrent Power, Dixon Tech, Berger Paints, MTAR Tech are some major names reporting results today.
