Dhurandhar 2 isn’t just running in theatres right now; it is ruling the box office. In just three weeks, the film has crossed a massive ₹1,000-crore mark, and what makes this even bigger is that the number comes purely from its Hindi version.
It is the first time that a film has reached this milestone in a single language.
Taran Adarsh shared the update on X and wrote, “Dhurandhar: The Revenge scripts HISTORY by becoming the FIRST HINDI FILM to breach the Rs 1000 cr mark [note: Hindi version].”
The
film currently stands at ₹1,009 crore, making it the highest-grossing Hindi film so far. Even more interesting, the franchise now holds both the top spots, Dhurandhar 2 at No. 1 and the prequel Dhurandhar right behind it at No. 2, as reported by IMDb.

In his post, Adarsh added, “The Dhurandhar franchise reiterates a timeless truth: Content is KING... and audiences are the ultimate KINGMAKERS.”
The third week numbers show how steady the film has been. It collected ₹21 crore on Friday, ₹25 crore on Saturday, and ₹28 crore on Sunday. The weekdays stayed strong too, with ₹10 crore each on Monday and Tuesday, ₹8 crore on Wednesday and ₹7 crore on Thursday.
These consistent numbers helped the film comfortably cross the ₹1,000-crore mark.
Dhurandhar 2 began its theatrical run with ₹102.55 crore on March 19, thanks to the paid preview shows a day earlier. Throughout the first week, the film managed to collect ₹40 crore and ₹60 crore regularly and upon entering the second weekend, the figures ranged between ₹20-30 crore. Interestingly, Dhurandhar 2 has already surpassed the domestic net collection of SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which earned ₹1,030.42 crore.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge, directed by Aditya Dhar, stars Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. Released last month, the spy thriller is a sequel to the film of the same name, released in December last year.
