Construction (EPC) Contract worth ₹161.68 crore from Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd, the company declared on Tuesday, November 25.
In a filing with the exchanges, the company said, it had received the Letter of Acceptance for "the design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning for up-gradation of existing 1x25 KV Electric Traction system into 2x25 KV Electric Traction system etc in the projects being executed by Konkan Railway Corporation Limited."
The contract is to be executed by January 23, 2027, the infrastructure company's press release said.
Incorporated in 2003, Jayant Infratech is a technology-driven company whose core operations include electrifying new and existing railway tracks, helping reduce dependence on fossil fuels and lower the sector’s carbon footprint.

This contract is expected to contribute significantly to the company's revenue and operational growth, the company noted.
Shares of Jayant Infratech closed ₹3.51 or 5% higher at ₹73.76 on Tuesday, ahead of the announcement. The stock has dropped 26.75% in the last one month.
