Shares of Indoco Remedies
Ltd. were trading nearly 2% lower on Tuesday, July 28, even after the pharmaceutical company reported a sharp improvement in its June quarter earnings.
The company posted a net profit of ₹65 crore for Q1FY27, compared with a net loss of ₹36 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations rose 6.4% year-on-year to ₹467 crore, up from ₹439 crore in Q1FY26.
Operating performance improved, with EBITDA rising to ₹40.8 crore from ₹16.7 crore a year ago. Consequently, EBITDA margin expanded to 8.7%, compared with 3.8% in the year-ago quarter.
Despite the improved earnings performance, Indoco Remedies shares were down 1.9% at ₹243.49 in Tuesday's trade. The stock, however, has gained more than 6% so far in 2026.
