Adani Green Energy Ltd. (AGEL) said its operational renewable energy capacity increased 27% year-on-year to 20,142 MW in the quarter ended June FY27, driven by greenfield additions of 4,327 MW over the past year.
The company commissioned 848 MW of energy capacity during the June quarter. It also operationalised 1,972 MWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity at its Khavda project, taking the site's installed BESS capacity to 3,551 MWh as of June 30, 2026.
In its Q1FY27 update, company added that sale of energy rose 30% year-on-year to 13,657 million units in the first quarter, supported by higher operational capacity.
The company reported a solar portfolio capacity utilisation factor (CUF) of 25.3%, backed by plant availability of 99.5%. Its wind portfolio recorded a CUF of 44.4% with 95.3% plant availability, while the hybrid portfolio posted a CUF of 49.0% with plant availability of 98.8%.
Adani Green said its generation business has delivered a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 43%.
With an operational portfolio of 20,142 MW, the company said it can supply clean electricity to more than 9 million homes while helping avoid around 37 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) emissions annually.
Earlier on June 1, the company has informed that it has operationalised a 50 MW solar power project at Khavda in Gujarat, further expanding its renewable energy portfolio and bringing its total operational renewable generation capacity close to the 20 GW milestone.
Q4FY26 results
The company had reported a 72.6% year-on-year rise in net profit to ₹397 crore for the June quarter, while revenue increased 14% to ₹3,502 crore.
The company's EBITDA grew 20% to ₹2,882 crore, with the EBITDA margin expanding to 82.3% from 78.2% a year ago.
Shares of Adani Green Energy Ltd. ended 3.24% higher at ₹1,534.80 on the NSE on Friday, gaining ₹48.20 during the session.
